Welcome to Gastro Deli Catering, located in a quiet backwater of Commonhall Street in Chester (Just off Chester’s busiest street, Bridge Street). The Chester Renaissance "Mystery shopper" gave us 93 (out of 100) for our merits in the business. Must watch out where we put the Christmas tree next year! We have an indoor seating capacity to 22 persons with tables out of doors serving breakfasts, sandwiches, teas and snacks all day.
Once you have visited us, you will want to return. We provide a warm welcome, and a relaxing, informal experience in which to dine throughout the day. We open for breakfast serving coffee, teas, fruit juices, full english breakfasts, scrambled eggs, eggs benedict and full takeaway service. Cooked to your liking. Carrying on through the day the deli is open to all our customers whether in a rush and wish to grab a take away, or for those wishing to order by phone. Mid morning we serve light snacks. A full range of coffee's, tea's, hot chocolate, smoothies, soft drinks. We have a wide range of beverages and wines to accompany eating in meals.
For Lunch time, we have a menu which is devised with freshness in mind at all times. In our front of house windows we display our daily menu. These are available to read the night before for our customers to tantalise themselves as to what they may like to choose from. For those customers wishing the usual array of culinary delights, they shall not be disappointed, as there are always the usual day to day goodies. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are there with help on hand and serve those needing some advice and product knowledge. We have soups and casseroles of the day, changed daily and all readily prepared in our own kitchen.
Afternoon tea's are becoming very popular with lots of enticing homemade in house cakes. Those who sample our cakes come back time after time. These are served with an array of sandwiches, and a free top up with hot drinks. Now we have homemade breads and small individual family cakes to takeaway.
